This was one of the songs that I used for my daughters grade six graduation slide show. I love the lyrics...so I decided that I would put them into my journal. I used several different shading techniques on this page - and puff printing from my class. I am very happy with the end result. I think I will do more lyric pages. There are so many great songs out there!
A heartfelt space where creativity and grandmotherhood intertwine to support mental well-being. Through my art, crafts and writing, I honor the bonds of family, the power of friendship, and the beauty of memories, all while nurturing my own mental health. My mission is to inspire others to find peace and joy through creativity, rooted in the timeless values of family, remembrance, and the unique role of being a grandmother.

grand piano
Dawn Supina, a fellow member of the Pointy Hat Art Posse, asked me if I could do a couple of illustrations for her niece and nephew. This piano is one of them. Why red? Why not!!

Black & White
For Illustration Friday. I couldn't leave the drawing exclusively black and white; I had to add a little purple shading. I used a micron .005 pen, and a zig brushable pen for the shading.

My cousin Michael's little guy turned two this weekend. This is the card that I made for him.
