A heartfelt space where creativity and grandmotherhood intertwine to support mental well-being. Through my art, crafts and writing, I honor the bonds of family, the power of friendship, and the beauty of memories, all while nurturing my own mental health. My mission is to inspire others to find peace and joy through creativity, rooted in the timeless values of family, remembrance, and the unique role of being a grandmother.
For Illustration Friday. I couldn't leave the drawing exclusively black and white; I had to add a little purple shading. I used a micron .005 pen, and a zig brushable pen for the shading.

There's a lot of colour in a shadow - it's funny how many people miss that! It actually does help bring out the b&w in your picture.
Hi Nickie! You did really well with the theme--good subject. I love the purple shadowing on everything. I think it makes the illustration pop. And the lettering is fabulous as usual :-)
