Journal 52 Week 24
Journal 52's Week 24 prompt was "Silly Animal Zoo". I decided instead of doing a silly animal, I would draw one of my favourite animals. I love the sea turtle, and because of a wonderful visit with one on my first trip to Maui, I have a tattoo of one on my ankle. This led me to thinking...

Summer of Color 3, Week 2, Orange and Hot Pink
Here is my entry for the Summer of Color 3 Challenge this week: Orange and Hot Pink. I used watercolors to create the foundation, then built upon it with pens, and finally, some acrylic ink for highlights and texture. This page in my art journal is now just waiting for me to write something profound on it!

Daddy's Sandcastle
Probably my favourite page that I did while on my trip...I think because it was so different from what I usually do. There was a family on the beach next to us, and they were having so much fun building this sandcastle, although Daddy was doing probably having the most fun.
