The summer of 1977, my parents loaded us up in the new Suburban, and we headed west towards the ocean. On the way, we stopped for snacks, and Mom and Dad bought each of us a big foot all day sucker. I think it lasted about two days...but you would have to check with my younger brothers...one of them may still have theirs.

Great idea Nicolette! I love the colors and the sucker brings back chilhood memories. My parents would give each of us one of these at the start of a road trip and it work well at keeping us quiet. Jean
love the colors. i loved the big colorful lollys...i was always drawn to the colors as a girl, but i could never finish them...not even close. now, i think it is amusing to watch small children try to tackle the daunting task of consuming one of those huge suckers!!! great illo! perfect for summer!
