Cathe's book
This is a page that I did for Cathe's deco "Creative Edge", which is going to be sent around PHAP's members. I just read the article by the wonderful Violette about visual journaling in the new issue of CLOTH*PAPER*SCISSORS and as always was inspired by this lady's style....
The pocket contains little slips of paper with journal prompts on them.
If you haven't stopped by already, take the time to visit Violette's site at
http://www.violette.ca
you will be glad that you did!

Opposites
For Illustration Friday.
My husband didn't think this was a good example of opposites.
"They are both Queens!", he argued.
"Wouldn't the opposite of a Queen be a King?"
And I thought that by now he understood women.

You have been warned.
Well, it is 35 degrees celsius here in sunny Alberta - that would be 95 Fahrenheit to you folks south of the border....
So I spent the afternoon in the shade, putting the finishing touches on this rock that I painted for beside our backyard pond.
Those of you that know me well know that I have a thing for faeries, so if you come to my backyard, know that certain behaviour will NOT be tolerated!

Sticky
The summer of 1977, my parents loaded us up in the new Suburban, and we headed west towards the ocean. On the way, we stopped for snacks, and Mom and Dad bought each of us a big foot all day sucker. I think it lasted about two days...but you would have to check with my younger brothers...one of them may still have theirs.
