For the Composition Art Journals gang:
Start by writing your title on your page. Then take 3 colours, and randomly draw swirls and wavy lines all over your page. Draw them wide enough that you can write on top of them. If you have to, draw the swirl and then "build" upon it with more of the same colour, creating a thicker line if necessary. Then using a fine liner in one of the same three colours, write what you did that day. These things may not seem important at the time, but they are so fun to look back on!
Now draw some flowers, or a favourite design ( I used some spring daffodils) - or you could even use stickers - around the page.
Lastly, I have taken some watercolour paint and filled in the white spaces with more colour.
A heartfelt space where creativity and grandmotherhood intertwine to support mental well-being. Through my art, crafts and writing, I honor the bonds of family, the power of friendship, and the beauty of memories, all while nurturing my own mental health. My mission is to inspire others to find peace and joy through creativity, rooted in the timeless values of family, remembrance, and the unique role of being a grandmother.
