For the Composition Art Journals gang:
Start by writing your title on your page. Then take 3 colours, and randomly draw swirls and wavy lines all over your page. Draw them wide enough that you can write on top of them. If you have to, draw the swirl and then "build" upon it with more of the same colour, creating a thicker line if necessary. Then using a fine liner in one of the same three colours, write what you did that day. These things may not seem important at the time, but they are so fun to look back on!
Now draw some flowers, or a favourite design ( I used some spring daffodils) - or you could even use stickers - around the page.
Lastly, I have taken some watercolour paint and filled in the white spaces with more colour.

My Page Recipe
a couple of bugs
Some new atc's that I have done. I think these lovely ladies will be part of my third doodles class...
for Betty
My best friend Betty is going through cancer treatment right now, and as a tribute to her, my whole family gave up their locks for a cancer fundraiser. The fellows shaved their heads, and my daughter and I donated 3 inches of hair to be made into wigs for cancer patients.
It was a great thing to do, especially when we want to help Betty, who we love so much.
Please go to the link below, if you want to help in the fight against Cancer.

Enjoying the Sun
I drew this from a photograph my parents sent me of their daily backyard visitor. As you can see, a true sign of spring is when the bunnies start to turn brown!

A Superhero Muse
For my art group, the Pointy Hat Art Posse. I thought that I would have some fun with my nickname in our group....so here is my superhero muse...Letter Woman!
...my son came up with her slogan...what a clever kid!
You can see that she is in much better shape than I am, and has better hair.
