self-portrait
My version of a self-portrait. I don't like the nose - but I left it as is, because it is a first attempt. I used watercolour pencils for the background - I liked the effect.
Cindy-Lou
My husband thinks this looks like Cindy-Lou Who from the Grinch who stole Christmas. Whoever it is, she certainly is not impressed...what do you think has offended her?

If You Ask
Another angel that is going out anonymously to someone in need of a friend. After drawing her, I realized that she looks a lot like my brother's girlfriend! Please visit the link below to learn more about the Guardian Angel Artist program....
Angels are never too distant

My pirate name is:
Mad Ethel Cash
Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. You're musical, and you've got a certain style if not flair. You'll do just fine. Arr!
Get your own pirate name from fidius.org.

Simple Simon
For illustration friday...."simple".
I wanted to do a very simple illustration, like something you would find in a child's story book.
RIANNA Queen of all Faeries
This was also drawn by my 13 year old daughter...probably my favourite of all her faerie drawings. I will be helping her put her own blog together so that she can post all of these wonderful sketches!

Hope Angel
This is an angel that I am sending out to a lady who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. I am doing this through the GUARDIAN ANGEL PROGRAM. This is a simple program that was created to so that artists could share their talents to uplift the spirits of others. The angels are requested by the family and friends of those who could use some comfort or a smile.

Dark Haired Lady
I went for drama with this one...although she may look a little spooky....if she opened her mouth, I wonder if she would have fangs?
wood sprite
After getting a book about faeries from the library yesterday, my daughter and I filled pages in our journals with pictures of these lovely creatures.
