Okay, so this lamp was what first came to my mind when I saw that the Illustration Friday theme was "Fragile"...The movie "A Christmas Story" is always a part of our family traditions over the holidays, and I can't help but laugh each time the father unpacks his major award - "FRA-GEE-LAY...it must be Italian!"
I think I captured the "tacky element" with my drawing of the leg lamp. For a more tasteful rendering of this week's theme, I have posted another drawing below.

One of my sisters and I still say "Fragile" the way they pronounce it in the movie.
I love this drawing...AND the movie. It so fits the challenge!
