Here is my entry for the Summer of Color 3 Challenge this week:  Purple and Lime Green.  Once again I used watercolors to create the foundation, finishing with a quote in Copic Markers.

Here is my entry for the Summer of Color 3 Challenge this week:  Orange and Hot Pink.  I used watercolors to create the foundation, then built upon it with pens, and finally, some acrylic ink for highlights and texture.  This page in my art journal is now just waiting for me to write something profound on it!

Well, with the creation of this card, it has been become official. I am in love with my Cricut machine.  When I can create custom flourishes like these to add to my cards,

Headband for Robin

There is no better way to spend a Saturday in January than watching movies and knitting!  When I saw that my niece Robin had liked a knitted headband just like this on Pinterest, I thought I would knit one for her.  I found a similar pattern on Ravelry, and by Sunday, I had one ready for her!
