I found these great frames at Dollarama - for - you guessed it - one dollar! They fit my atc's quite nicely, and I thought they were a fun way to feature some of my art around the house.
A heartfelt space where creativity and grandmotherhood intertwine to support mental well-being. Through my art, crafts and writing, I honor the bonds of family, the power of friendship, and the beauty of memories, all while nurturing my own mental health. My mission is to inspire others to find peace and joy through creativity, rooted in the timeless values of family, remembrance, and the unique role of being a grandmother.

Happy Garden
A composition journals page recipe experiment. With my own personal variations, of course!
I thought it turned out quite bright and cheery!
I Try...
This was a challenge from Art Journal friend Penny Hackett-Evans, so I thought I would oblige. I hope you like it Penny!

Thought I would add this view, showing off more of the shag rug from my old room...

Altered Box Project...
This was a wooden jewelery box that I took from Corrinne at one of the PHAP meetings, so that I could alter it. I decided to alter it in a 70's theme, pulling pop culture images and memories and from my preteen and early teen years. The colour scheme was from my childhood bedroom. I am using the box as a place to keep some keepsakes from those days. I have never attempted anything like this before, but was thrilled with the end result.
Altered Wooden Box...
The inside is lined with shag carpet from my childhood bedroom. And yes, that is my retainer that I had to wear in junior high!
