Sunday afternoon, creating a few cards to sell. Here is one of them. I love the bright colours on this one!
A heartfelt space where creativity and grandmotherhood intertwine to support mental well-being. Through my art, crafts and writing, I honor the bonds of family, the power of friendship, and the beauty of memories, all while nurturing my own mental health. My mission is to inspire others to find peace and joy through creativity, rooted in the timeless values of family, remembrance, and the unique role of being a grandmother.

Illustration Friday: triangle
I am trying to get back to more basic illustration, and one of the best ways for me to practice this is with Illustration Friday. When I saw that this week's prompt was triangle, I instantly thought of a couple becoming a family with the birth of a child. I have a new nephew, and have been enjoying watching my brother and his new family!

Blue Girl
Blue Girl was done wit Pencil and Watercolours. I wasn't crazy about the pencil, it really muddied everything. But all in all, a successful experiment - I liked the placement of her eyes, and how her face turned out.

Spring Cleaning
I drew this as a journal prompt for Journal 52: Spring Cleaning. I was having fun with my copic markers - I have been working on faces quite a bit lately, and am really enjoying playing with the facial tones, blending color combinations. I usually work with a fine black liner, but decided I would see what would happen if I just worked with the pens alone. I did my preliminary sketch with a prismacolor water soluble pencil in rose, which blends so nicely into the copics more than a regular pencil would. I love her side smirk!
