A heartfelt space where creativity and grandmotherhood intertwine to support mental well-being. Through my art, crafts and writing, I honor the bonds of family, the power of friendship, and the beauty of memories, all while nurturing my own mental health. My mission is to inspire others to find peace and joy through creativity, rooted in the timeless values of family, remembrance, and the unique role of being a grandmother.

Illustration Friday Post: Renewal
One of my new year's resolutions (I
have many) is to do as many of the
Illustration Friday prompts as I can.
I love the challenge of them!
This week's challenge is "RENEWAL",
and when I saw the word, I instantly thought of butterflies. I also happened to have this lovely vintage image in my collection of favourite images, and it lent itself perfectly to the theme.
All I needed was a quote, so when I found this quotation from the actress Lynn Redgrave, I knew that I was ready to go!

Well, the craziness and wonder that is everything Christmas has come and gone for another year. I have been having a wonderful holiday season, spending some much anticipated days off of work working in my art journal, catching up on movie watching and book reading, and enjoying friends and family. I hope to be posting art on a more regular basis once again now that the new year has begun, so stay tuned! In the meantime, here are a few ornaments that I made that now grace my Christmas tree.
