Ha Ha Halloween
For a swap -
It was supposed to be about the HUMOR of Halloween - quite a challenge...so I decided to go the CORNY route...It ended up being A LOT of fun, and I was really happy with how they turned out! The kids really liked these, too.

collage cards
Here are some cards that were done with the technique listed below...I drew an entire page of designs (with a sharpie marker), coloured them in and embellished with a gold paint pen. Then I cut the page into ATC size cards. I am quite pleased with the results, and have several cards available for trade!
love letters
Another pattern that will be cut into cards. Sometimes it is much easier to sit with a full sheet of paper, and just doodle away. As long as the pattern is small enough, and detailed enough, this technique works very well.
granny's wallpaper
I made this page to cut into ATC's (Art Trading Cards). It think the pattern looks like old fashioned wall paper...

Fabulous Fifties Part Two
All of these Fabulous Fifites cards were created for an ATC swap. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new set of cards! It was such a fun theme to work with, I never ran out of ideas!
Nothing But A Memory
A peony from my garden, this past June. I am so glad that I took some pictures of the summer garden, as it seems like those summer days were a long time ago...

Autumn Poplar
Looking up in my backyard, the autumn sunshine brought out the beautiful contrast between the poplar's changing leaves and the dark green needles of the spruce...and look at the gorgeous Alberta sky!
Fall Aster
This is one of the Asters that we planted from seed. I just LOVE the colour...may have to attempt to draw it in my art journal...
