Jolly Roger

Jolly Roger, originally uploaded by sapphire252.

I carved this pumpkin for my son's Halloween Dance at school. I was thrilled with how it turned out. I found this awesome website,
http://www.zombiepumpkins.com/
that has amazing pumpkin carving patterns!

Snowflake Heaven

Snowflake Heaven, originally uploaded by sapphire252.

Dare I post this? Maybe I should have waited until December....
but I loved the quote, and had to make some ATC's for a swap coming up....
I liked the colour combination as well - I thought the blues gave a nice "icy" feel to the card.

Halloween

Something for Everyday Matters....Halloween...
Using one of my favourite colour combinations!
I did this in a Moleskine sketchbook - it took my marker ink quite nicely.

Cold

cold, originally uploaded by sapphire252.

This is the drawing that I did for Illustration Friday. Not really something I want to think about - especially with a possibility of snow overnight in our Alberta weather forecast! However, the snowman seemed so appropriate - I guess I could have drawn a popsicle...oh well! If I wake up to a winter wonderland, I am blaming Illustration Friday!

Float

For Illustration Friday.
I am sorry, but there is only one way to interpret the word FLOAT. And that would be ROOTBEER.

visit www.illustrationfriday.com
to see more interpretations of this theme!

For the Everyday Matters Challenge...
I used a regular HB pencil for this drawing - I would like to try it again with some varying pencils...
I was happy with how it turned out - not sure if I could do a whole face, though!

Wedding Card

My Aunt Doris got married a few weeks ago, and I attended a wedding party for her this weekend. This is the front of the card I made for her and her husband Murray.
