Violet
Meet Violet...Amanda's Betta. Violet has a very sweet nature (for a fighting fish) and is therefore the perfect subject for Illustration Friday's "Aquatic" theme. Go to IllustrationFriday.com to see more wonderful illustrations!
Weeping Birch
For an Everyday Matters Challenge: Trees. This is the Weeping Birch that is in our backyard. It is a meeting place for many kinds of birds. It is also the best climbing tree in our backyard, according to the kids at my house!

Illustration Friday - Nourishment
The topic this week was "nourishment". I kept thinking of all of things that are nourishment besides food and water. And then I started to think of all of the things that nourish MY soul. Please look at Illustrationfriday.com for all the other wonderful interpretations of this topic.
Dance...
Another ATC. Yes, purple and green AGAIN. But I love the look, and liked the "witchy-poo" feet.

Flutter 2
For an atc challenge...butterflies. I thought I would make it look like it was quilted. I liked how it turned out!
New Alphabet
Some fun with brush markers...I am thinking of including this in the next installment of online creative lettering classes...
