Nightmare Monkey

I call this the Nightmare Monkey, because this project was definitely a lesson in patience!  I was not sure if I had read the pattern correctly until the last bit of stuffing went in, and was relieved that he actually looked like a monkey!  Add in the fact that I chose some really difficult wool to work with (the colours are beautiful, but the yarn kept breaking off mid-stitch) and I was tempted to abandon this project many times.  However, the end result ended up being pretty good, and my eighteen year old son has claimed his as his own.  So I guess the nightmare was worthwhile in the long run!
