floral lady

floral lady, originally uploaded by sapphire252.

An altered magazine photo. I made the flowers out of various paper, etc. The tie-dyed flowers are actually baby wipes coloured with watercolour paint. (Another technique from Bernie's wonderful book - see below!)

This will eventually become a page in an art journal.

Beautiful. I've done something similar over on my blog. I'm thinking almost 2 years ago now. Great job.

Great job on all your faces, Nicki. I just did some magazine trace-sketches for Michelle Ward's street team, on my blog, if you'd like to come visit me. I also have new lesson homework uploaded to your class sight, finally finished the workshop I was doing first. xoxo

Gorgeous! I love the idea of making some flowers out of painted baby wipes. Well done. Thank you for sharing, and thanks for your encouraging words for me on my postcard challenge on my blog.
